# JotForm

Connect JotForm with a webhook so every submission is recorded in Humblytics and tied to the visit, page, and campaign it came from.

JotForm sends each submission straight to Humblytics through a **webhook**, a link JotForm pings every time someone submits. A hidden field on your form tells Humblytics which visit the submission came from, so it's credited to the right page, traffic source, and campaign.

**You need:** the Humblytics script installed on the page where your JotForm is embedded, and edit access to the form in JotForm.
{% endhint %}

## 1. Copy your webhook URL

1. In Humblytics, go to **Connect → Connectors**.
2. Under **Forms**, click **Setup** next to **JotForm**.
3. Click the **Webhook URL** to copy it.

## 2. Add the webhook in JotForm

1. Open your form in JotForm and go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Search for **Webhooks** and open it.
3. Paste the URL and save.

Repeat for each JotForm form you want to track. They all use the same URL.

## 3. Add the hidden field

This is what links a submission to the visitor's session. Without it, the submission is still counted, but Humblytics can't tell which page or campaign it came from.

1. In the JotForm form builder, click **Add Form Element**, search for **Hidden**, and add the hidden field to your form.
2. Open the field's settings (the gear icon) and find **Unique Name**, usually under **Advanced** or **Field Details**.
3. Set **Unique Name** to exactly `hmblViewId`.
4. Save the form.

You don't need to fill in a value. The Humblytics script adds it automatically when the form loads.

## 4. Test it

1. Open your live page in a private window and submit a test entry.
2. Go to **Observe → Analytics → Forms**. The submission appears within a minute or two. Use the **Source** filter to show only JotForm submissions.

**Not showing?**

* Check the webhook URL in JotForm matches the one in Humblytics exactly.
* The Unique Name must be `hmblViewId`, with the same capital letters.
* The JotForm must be embedded on a page with the Humblytics script. Submissions from JotForm's own share link (`form.jotform.com/...`) can't be tied to a visit.
