# Understanding Live Activity

Live Activity shows who is on your site right now and what they're doing, updated in real time.

Live Activity is on the **Overview** tab under **Observe → Analytics**. It updates on its own, so you don't need to refresh the page.

## Live counters

| Counter    | What it means                              |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Active** | Visitors on your site right now.           |
| **Views**  | Page views in the recent real-time window. |
| **Clicks** | Clicks in the recent real-time window.     |
| **Top**    | The country sending the most live traffic. |

Click the globe icon in the top-right corner of the panel to show a map of where your live visitors are.

## Recent activity feed

Each row is one event, newest first:

* **Page visit:** the visitor's country and the page they opened, such as *Visitor from Canada · /pricing*.
* **Click:** the visitor's country, the page, and the element they clicked, such as *Clicked /pricing: "start-trial"*.

Click **Show more** to load older events, or **Show all** to see every event in the list.

## When to use it

* **Check your installation.** Open your site in a private window, click around, and watch your visit appear within about a minute.
* **Watch a launch.** See traffic arrive live while you send an email, publish a post, or start a campaign.
* **Confirm new click tracking.** Click the button you just set up and check that it shows in the feed with the right name.
