Frequently Asked Questions

Billing & Plan Limits

What happens if I exceed my monthly page‑view limit?

  • 75 % warning: We’ll email you when usage hits 75 %.

  • 3‑day grace period: If you cross the limit, tracking continues for three days so you can upgrade.

  • Pause: After the grace period, tracking pauses until you upgrade or your quota resets.

Are page‑view, event, and split‑test limits per site or per account?

All limits apply at the account level across every connected site.

Can I change plans later?

  • Upgrade: Takes effect immediately; charges are prorated.

  • Downgrade: Starts next billing cycle; no data is lost.

Privacy & Compliance

Do I need a cookie banner or consent prompt?

No. Humblytics stores no cookies or local‑storage identifiers. Users are anonymised via a one‑way hash of IP + device traits; raw IPs are discarded instantly.

Is Humblytics GDPR compliant?

We’re on the final path to full GDPR compliance. Email support@humblytics.com to be notified when certification is complete.

How is Humblytics privacy‑focused?

  • No client‑side storage.

  • All data encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • Only aggregated, anonymised metrics are surfaced in dashboards.

Performance & Implementation

Will Humblytics slow down my site?

  • One async tag, ≈ 36 KB.

  • Loads from a global CDN and never blocks rendering.

Do I need multiple scripts for A/B tests?

No. Split‑testing logic is baked into the main tag; no extra files needed.

Product Features

Custom events & form tracking

Add humblytics="event-name" to any HTML element or iframe. Events appear under Clicks within seconds.

Funnels

Create multi‑step funnels (page views, clicks, form completes) and see conversion, drop‑off, and per‑step value in real time.

Heatmaps

Click & scroll heatmaps activate automatically—no extra code or sampling.

Email reports

  1. Go to Site Settings → Email Reports.

  2. Pick weekly or monthly cadence.

  3. Add unlimited recipients; they don’t need Humblytics accounts.

Anomaly alerts

Our models learn normal traffic patterns and email you when sudden spikes or drops occur.

Collaboration & Sharing

Can I add teammates?

Full multi‑user roles are in development. Meanwhile:

  • Public dashboard links for view‑only access.

  • Unlimited email recipients for reports & alerts.
