Frequently Asked Questions

Humblytics FAQ

Billing & Plan Limits

What happens if I exceed my monthly page‑view limit?

  • 75% warning: We'll email you when usage hits 75%.

  • 3‑day grace period: If you cross the limit, tracking continues for three days so you can upgrade.

  • Pause: After the grace period, tracking pauses until you upgrade or your quota resets.

Are page‑view, event, and split‑test limits per site or per account? All limits apply at the account level across every connected site.

Can I change plans later?

  • Upgrade: Takes effect immediately; charges are prorated.

  • Downgrade: Starts next billing cycle; no data is lost.

Can I switch between plans? Plan switching is flexible and straightforward. Upgrades take effect immediately with pro-rated charges based on your remaining billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. All historical data is retained regardless of which plan you switch to.

You'll receive an email alert at 75% usage, with a 3-day grace period to upgrade if you exceed your limit before tracking is paused.

What happens to my data if I cancel? After cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days for export purposes. Your account can be reactivated within 90 days with all historical data intact. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted for privacy and security. Switching to our free plan limits you to 1,000 monthly views but retains access to historical data.

Privacy & Compliance

Do I need a cookie banner or consent prompt? No. Humblytics stores no cookies or local‑storage identifiers. Users are anonymised via a one‑way hash of IP + device traits; raw IPs are discarded instantly.

Is Humblytics GDPR compliant? We're on the final path to full GDPR compliance. Email [email protected] to be notified when certification is complete.

How is Humblytics privacy‑focused?

  • No client‑side storage.

  • All data encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • Only aggregated, anonymised metrics are surfaced in dashboards.

How accurate is cookie-free tracking? Humblytics achieves over 99% accuracy for unique visitor tracking using advanced fingerprinting technology. Instead of cookies, we use IP address hashing and device characteristics to identify visitors while maintaining privacy. This eliminates the need for cookie consent banners while maintaining high accuracy.

Can I add more than 1 user to the account? There's no limit on dashboard viewers, and additional team features are being developed based on user feedback.

Integrations & Platform Support

Which platforms are supported out of the box? [Note: This section appears to be incomplete in the original document]

Can I track HubSpot forms? Yes—embedded HubSpot forms are auto‑detected. Native HubSpot pages require adding the Humblytics script in HubSpot settings.

Does Humblytics integrate with other tools? A public REST API is on the roadmap. Until then, export CSVs or share public dashboards.

Humblytics offers native integration with Webflow and direct support for Framer sites. A public API for custom integrations is in development. Currently, you can export data in CSV format and share dashboards via public links. Custom event tracking works with any platform.

Migration & Data

How do I migrate from Google Analytics? Install Humblytics alongside GA for 1–2 weeks. Map any custom events via attributes or small JS helpers. Remove GA when comfortable with Humblytics metrics.

Migrate gradually by installing Humblytics alongside your existing Google Analytics implementation. Run both tools in parallel for 1-2 weeks to verify accurate tracking and set up custom events to match your existing configuration. While historical data won't transfer directly, you can export it for your records before removing Google Analytics entirely.

Email Reports & Alerts

How do I set up email reports? Configure email reports through your Humblytics dashboard at Site Settings > Email Reports. Choose your preferred frequency (weekly or monthly) and customize which metrics to include. Reports are automatically formatted for easy sharing with your team and stakeholders. You can add multiple email recipients to keep everyone informed about your site's performance.

What's included in the email reports? Email reports provide a comprehensive overview of your site's key metrics:

  • Traffic trends and patterns

  • Top-performing pages

  • Conversion rates

  • A/B test results (if active)

  • Notable changes from previous periods

Reports are designed to be concise yet informative, giving you actionable insights without overwhelming detail.

How does anomaly detection work? Our intelligent anomaly detection system continuously monitors your website traffic patterns to identify unusual activity. It learns from your site's historical data to understand what's "normal" for your website. When it detects significant deviations—whether sudden spikes or drops in traffic—it sends immediate alerts so you can investigate and respond quickly.

Who can receive alerts and reports? Alerts and reports can be sent to any email address you specify, regardless of whether they have a Humblytics account. Add or remove email recipients anytime through Site Settings > Email Reports. There's no limit to the number of recipients you can add.
